Outlook Smart Filer
Designed to make filing and sharing of Outlook emails quick and easy.
Most people have already organised all their documents such as
Word, Excel, etc into the "normal" Windows folders - surely it makes sense to save your emails
in the same folders with everything
else?
However, with Outlook it is not obvious how to do this and there
are several short comings.
Outlook Smart Filer makes it quick and easy to save both incoming and outgoing emails
in the same folders as all your other documents.
It then allows you to fully view any email saved to disk -
including information such as the Subject, To, From and also
providing a preview. You can of course also open the email
if you wish to access an attachment etc.
There are many benefits from doing this, the main ones being:
- You have a permanent record of key emails sent / received.
- Other team members can see the emails sent / received by the team.
- No need to keep emails in Outlook - resolving oversized Outlook mailboxes.
- Everything is filed in one place.
