Outlook Smart Filer can be downloaded and installed over the Internet. The software registers automatically into the central database when it is used using your Outlook email address.

If you have "administrator" permissions on your machine (i.e. you can normally install software) then you can go ahead and download.

If you do not have "administrator" permissions then you need to get your administrator to install the Microsoft components listed in Technical Information (see hyperlink in left hand panel). Once that has been done then you still need to download and install the system as it is installed "per user".

If you use Terminal Services / Citrix then Outlook Smart Filer also works in these environments, but needs special installation (please see "Citrix Install" in the left hand panel).

Outlook Smart Filer works with Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003.

Please note that on Windows 7, Service Pack 1 must be installed for Outlook 2010 and is strongly recommended for Outlook 2007.
